Schoolkid.Ph

19 December 2010 – Fifty kids from Brgy. Rosario, Pasig were given a special Christmas party by the Ebay.Ph Community and Schoolkid.Ph was there to hand out schoolkits to the children.

My distribution of schoolkits with the Ebay.Ph community was a long time coming.  I was supposed to join them in their annual outreach last year but unfortunately, it didn’t push through. So when Ebayer icancr8!, who is the ever-champion of th Ebay community acitivites, told me that an outreach is scheduled this year, I immediately re-pledged the schoolkit distribution for their beneficiaries. I am an Ebayer myself and have found great friends from Ebay, never short of happiness and laughter when I’m with them.

The beneficiaries are fifty kids from Brgy. Rosario in Pasig – 23 girls and 27 boys to be exact. They were brought in at Jollibee by 6 guardians. The area were they lived is a depressed area in the baranggay and they have also been casualties of Typhoon Ondoy last year.

Only a few minutes after the program, the Jollibee mascot arrived. Dancing and games followed.. all with Jollibee right there with them.

The highlight, of course, was the gift giving.  A loot bag of treats —
