Time to level up! While you can still opt to be a free member of Schoolkid.Ph, now, you can become a Premium Member and get loads of extra stuff on Schoolkid.Ph! From May 4-30, get a one-year Premium Member subscription at an introductory price of only Php249!!

So, you must be thinking now, “Whoah! Wait a minute, you’re now charging subscription?”
The answer is yes, but this is for a premium membership that will give you more out of this website. You can still choose to remain as a free member and use the website as you’ve been doing in the past.

Schoolkid.Ph has grown a thousandfold since its beginnings and the time has come for it to be more than just a worksheet repository. It is time to level up!

Here’s what’s in store for Premium Members (full implementation by mid-June 2012):
1. More Worksheets
While free members continue to have access to worksheets, these worksheets will be limited to one or two worksheets per topic. As we build on the worksheet collection, only the premium members will get access to these additional worksheets.
2. Answer Keys
Each worksheet will have its corresponding answer key which would make it more easy and convenient to check your child’s answers. This is especially helpful for higher elementary subjects such as Filipino, Science, Araling Panlipunan and Math.
3. Online Worksheets
With online worksheets, there’s no need to print worksheets and even correct your child’s answers. These self-correcting online worksheets will not be on every topic but will be on topics that we think practice and mastery is really needed. This is also great when you are away from your printer and/or accessing the website through a mobile device/tablet. Online worksheets will only be offered to Premium Members.
4. Thematic worksheets
We realized that our worksheets seem to be very traditional or very school-like and we don’t want our children to just think of Schoolkid.Ph worksheets as a bore, right? So each month, premium members will get access to one thematic unit which includes a short lesson of a particular topic (ex: Christmas) and fun printable worksheets to go with it.

As you go through the pages of Schoolkid.Ph, you will notice some changes happening. We’ve started the changes in the Preschool Worksheets. This will be happening within the entire month of May. That is why for this month, we are offering the premium subscription at an introductory price of only Php249 per calendar year, instead of the regular price of Php499 per calendar year. (UPDATE 31 May 2012: This introductory price offer has ended.)

Only those paid on or before May 30, 2012 can enjoy the introductory price. Due to the manual setting of membership level, kindly allow 24-36 hours before your subscription starts. Payment may be made by credit card (through Paypal – secure, fast & Paypal account not required), cash payment (drop by our shop/office), bank deposit (RCBC) or Globe GCash.

So, you might be still thinking, “You’ll really be charging Php499 for more access to your website?”
The answer is yes, really, for three main reasons. First, since October 2011, the website had to be moved to a hybrid server when the simple shared server couldn’t keep up with the load required by this website. Second, the time has become ripe for Schoolkid.Ph to offer more than just printable worksheets so there are costs involved too in getting the resources for these extra offerings. Third, a portion of the subscription fee will be allocated to our “Schoolkits For Schoolkids” outreach projects where we give out schoolkits and worksheets to selected public school students.

With all the above, a Php499 per year fee really is really a very reasonable price (similar websites charge US$20 for less offerings, by the way). So make it even a better deal by applying by taking advantage of the introductory price of Php249!
