How ice cream can teach a little lesson on life
A little lesson on Independence…
You can’t eat ice cream without having to wipe your mouth after, right? So why not use this to guide your child and teach independence with ice cream.

After your young one gets that cute ice cream face, assist your child in cleaning himself up this way and teach him a life lesson along the way —
For Baby to 3 years old: Grab the napkin and wipe the ice cream off his face and hands until completely cleaned.
At 4-6 years old: Grab the napkin and hand it to him. Let him wipe the ice cream off as you tell him where and how to wipe it.
At 7-9 years old: Grab the napkin and put it in front of him before he eats. Tell him that whenever he needs to wipe, he just gets the napkin and cleans himself up.
At 10 and up: No need to offer any help. This is a small task that your child can be responsible to do. He can find and get the napkin himself since at this age, kids are already self-conscious about looks and will not stand looking silly with the ice cream face.
