It’s More Fun in the Philippines
Today, the Dept. of Tourism launched a new campaign for the Philippines. The DOT has been on the watch by many Filipinos after the blunder on the last campaign “Pilipinas Kay Ganda”. Now led by Sec. Ramon Jimenez, the agency focused on the simple question a traveler would normally ask, “Why would I want to go to the Philippines?”
And so the simple and yet very apt answer is, ‘It’s more fun in the Philippines.” Here’s the logo-

I followed the twitter hashtag #1forFun, and it was amusing to read twitter followers answering the question, “What is more fun in the Philippines?” Here are some of the tweets –
“Watching beauty pageants is more fun in the Philippines.”
“Eating is more fun in the Philippines.”
“Videoke is more fun in the Philippines.”
“Hospitality is more fun in the Philippines.”
“Having a COLD colorful drink is definitely more fun in the Philippines.”
“Nightlife is more fun in the Philippines.”
“Shopping is more fun in the Philippines.”
“Peeling a mango is more fun in the Philippines.”
“Tambay is more fun in the Philippines.”
“CHORES! Because of household help.”
“Planking is more fun in the Philippines.” – DOTPhilippines

Let’s support this new campaign. I think it’s way better than the previous one and more creative stuff can be done with this slogan. I love it!
“We need a line that is easily understood. Competitive. More fun in the Philippines is true. Keri natin ito” – Sec. Mon Jimenez
