It’s Time To Take A Stand. Bullying. Not in Our School.
Only a few months have passed since the start of the schoolyear, we’ve read quite a number of news reported about school violence already, most particularly, on bullying. Well, no one has an excuse to take a back seat and let this happen anymore. It is time to take a stand.

The Bully Project – Philippines
Aptly described as a community of ex-bystanders in the Philippines who have made the decision to take a stand, the Bully Project-Philippines aims to do an all out anti-bullying campaign. This project is headed by the Jesuit Basic Education Commission (JBEC) with Chris Tiu as the endorser of the group’s anti-bullying campaign “Not In Our School”.
“Bully” the movie-
In cooperation with Solar Entertainment, “Bully” will be shown in selected theaters in the Philippines starting November 14, 2012. This is a documentary drama directed by Lee Hirsch. JBEC hopes that this movie will further highlight the need for everyone to recognize and address the issue of bullying, especially in schools. It is rated PG-13 by the MTRCB.

Sharing Your Stories.
Have you ever been bullied? Did you ever bully someone? Have you witnessed an incident of bullying? The Bully Project-Philippines recently created a website for its “Not In Our School” anti-bullying campaign where you can tell your bullying experience and read about others’ experiences too. To let out an awful experience by sharing would be good therapy and at the same time reading more of such experiences can make way for a better understanding of the issue.
Making the Pledge.
It really is time to make a stand. Support anti-bullying by making the “Not in Our School” Pledge: I will not be a bully. I will help the bullied. I will speak up about bullying.

This billboard is currently up at the Ateneo De Manila University in Quezon City where they recently conducted the anti-bullying campaign in the Grade School Department.
